Goodbye Dennis, Hello Tarah

As of Sept. 31, 2016, Dennis will no longer be practicing at Joint Effort Physical Therapy. He will be going on vacation September 22nd and will not return to this location. We understand the importance of an uninterrupted continuum of care and we are committed to partnering with you to ensure a seamless transition of your care. Louise Wood has increased her hours, Dave Lyons is available 3 evenings per week, and Tarah Sweeney is joining our practice on September 16th.

We are excited to welcome Tarah! She has a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado.  She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and has also completed a two year program for Orthopedic Manual Therapy.  She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association.  She is also certified in dry needling for trigger point treatment.  She is currently in the process of manual therapy fellowship training through Evidence in Motion.

We are happy to schedule you with the Physical Therapist of your request, or help you choose a new provider.  Dennis can also recommend whom he feels might best treat your issue to avoid a lapse in your care.  If you wish to follow Dennis to his midtown location when he returns in October, you may fill out a medical records release to have your records transferred to his new employer (United Physical Therapy in midtown).

On behalf of Joint Effort Physical Therapy, we want to thank you for the opportunity to care for you and look forward to continuing our partnership in the future.
